| 内容 | グローバルに活躍するエンジニアと日本人エンジニアの違いとは――。 このイベントは、日本人エンジニアと在日の海外エンジニア(non-Japanese)におけるエンジニア・マインドや文化の違いを理解し、幅広い交流を持とうという趣旨のものです。 会場でのコミュニケーションは英語を中心とし、様々な業界で働くエンジニア同士で交流するという他にはないユニークなパーティになると思います。 当日は、OpenBSDのカーネルハッカーである"OpenBSD project"のRyan McBride氏によるOpenBSDのpfについてのテクニカルトークや、多国籍な職場で働くエンジニアに、「理解できない日本のもの (Japanese things you don't understand)」というテーマで、パネルディスカッションを予定しています。 セッション終了後は、気軽に会話したり、自由に交流を深めたりしていただける懇親の場（軽食付）もご用意しております。 グローバルな感性を磨きたいというエンジニアの方必見のイベントです。ぜひ奮ってご参加ください。 （※当イベントは、人材の採用や募集の活動の場ではございません） --- ＜主催＞ 株式会社パソナテック（Pasona Tech, Inc.） ＜企画起案・協力＞ 櫻井 知之 氏（Tomoyuki Sakurai） ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "Cross-cultural Engineer Party" The event focuses on understanding the differences and similarities between Japanese engineers and non-Japanese. Any kind of engineer, network, Windows/Unix, soft/hardware or whatever is welcome. Although the common language in the party will be English, this is not a free English class, nor any kind of recruting. There has been little, if any, communication between local and non-Japanese engineers. This will fill the gap and help people interact. The event has two parts, technical session and free talk. After the tech session, enjoy meeting and talking with different people with different background. We're also planning a non-tech session, "Japanese Things You Don't understand". Refreshments will be served.
